DraftMatrix: Fantasy Baseball Privacy Policy

Effective September 22, 2026

The short version: DraftMatrix collects no personal data. None.

What the app stores, and where

Your draft data — picks, rosters, keepers, targets, imported rankings, league settings, and preferences — is stored on your device. If you are signed into iCloud, the same data is stored in your personal iCloud key-value storage so a draft can move between your devices. This data belongs to you, is protected by your Apple ID, and is never transmitted to Grout Technology LLC or anyone else.

AI features

Draft suggestions are generated entirely on your device using Apple Intelligence (Apple's on-device foundation models). Your roster and the player pool are processed locally and never leave your device.

Network requests

The app downloads publicly available fantasy baseball data: draft ranks, average draft position, player positions and team codes, from a public content API. These requests fetch public data and include no personal information or identifiers about you. Standard server logs on those third-party services (such as IP addresses inherent to any internet request) are governed by their respective policies.

What we don't do

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.

Website email list and feedback form

Added October 23, 2026

The DraftMatrix apps themselves still collect no data. This section covers only the optional forms on the draftmatrix.app website.

Email list. If you sign up, we store your email address, which sport page(s) you signed up from, and when you first and most recently signed up. We use it only to send the draft-season cheat sheet and DraftMatrix app news. Your email address and sport(s) are stored with Cloudflare, our website host, and sent to Buttondown, our email provider, which sends the emails, asks you to confirm your subscription by email, and handles unsubscribes (every email has an unsubscribe link). Buttondown also receives your IP address to filter spam; see Buttondown's privacy policy.

Feedback form. If you send feedback, we store your name (optional), your email address, the app you chose, your message, and the time you sent it. We use it only to reply to you.

Both are stored with Cloudflare, our website host, and kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. You can unsubscribe anytime, or ask for deletion by emailing support@draftmatrix.app or through the support page. We never sell them, and share them only with the providers named here.

To block spam, the forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser when you use the forms; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

DraftMatrix is an independent draft tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any professional baseball league, team, or data provider.
